Laptop repair

Well, I finally took my laptop (read: my computer) in to get its backlight replaced. This will be wonderful for my eyes and my neck and my shoulders, as I won't have my sister's old monitor hooked up, and I won't be an extra foot from my screen. It will be lovely.

But until I get it back (repair guy said give him a week), I'll be using the downstairs computer. This doesn't really mean too much besides the fact that I won't be available as early, and that if I stay on as late, I'll get groused at.

As well, AIM chat doesn't work on this computer, so no crackchat for Hat until the laptop comes home.

But I'm going to get my screen fixed! Yay!

Hey, guys. I just want to note that I might be rather flaky for the next week or so. I'm not really doing well personally, and my brain is just not really getting itself around stuff lately. See? I'm not really capable of making a coherent backroom post tonight. Anyway, I just want to apologise for possible flakiness and not-really-thereness. I'll get this crap figured out eventually and be back to normal. I promise. If someone needs any of mine for plotness, go right ahead and contact me, I'm sure something can be worked out.

Ugh. Deepest apologies to anyone I was threading with/talking to last night - my connection crapped out. I suppose it had to happen sometime. Still, have managed to patch things up (literally, using sellotape), so hopefully should be around tonight.

Hello everybody.

My deepest apologies to anyone I have been threading with/plotting with lately, circumstances have been conspiring against me and I don't have a reliable source of internet connection for the next few days. The reason for this is that I am poor and destitute, and my personal laptop is ancient and basically no better than a word-processor, and so I've been using one or the other of my roomate's comps or the one at work. As such, when you rely on others for access, it can very easily become no longer available. Anyway, I'll be tagging my slow-time threads at any chance I get, and I love you all.
