Lilly doom
Jun. 28th, 2005 11:50 amawesome_lillyFirst of all, huge thanks to everyone who threaded. This was GORGEOUS doom, and despite the broken!Lilly in my head I'm so glad it happened. Quick rundown:
Celeste enters the bar and meets Roland and Alain and a hint of Mordred and gets unsettled by their knowledge and also by the pertness of a small French ballerina. Roland leaves Lilly a note to warn her. Lilly's teasing Bernard when she gets the note and goes to find Alain and Roland.
And then Lilly's mom is inna bar, and I cannot do enough fangirling of everyone involved with this thread. It's beautiful, seriously. Thank you all soooo much.
There are also a few OOM moments afterwards: Meg in Paris, Mordred in his room, and Lilly and Logan in his room (slowtimed).

Jun. 28th, 2005 03:19 pmalwaysroomforhopeSo, Stephanie rediscovered her love for Roy Harper's band, Great Frog, without knowing who Roy was. And because Steph and Dick are on CRACK, there was a thing. They sang along. Standing on a table. And, er, there was some dodgy disco dancing involved.
This is the thread. (And Great Frog has a similiar sound to Aussie band The Living End, if anyone's curious. Ping me (spoilobin) if you want me to yousendit .wma files, because LE love needs to be shared. *grin*)
This doesn't need to affect anyone else, of course. But we realised that it would've been pretty noisy and noticeable, and so if your character wants to laugh at them or blackmail them or just make pointed comments, or tell them not to do it again, they'll be horribly embarrassed, and it'll all be good.

Please, please, please remember to apply to the comm with your character journal. Do it when you send your app in. Do it before you send your app in, if you like. :D
Because, quite honestly, if you don't, then you run the risk of us mods forgetting to go back and approve you, and soon days have gone by -- days you could have been playing had you remembered to apply to the comm in the first place. So really, it's win-win for everyone!
(And no, this isn't directed at one person. Looked at a whole slew of apps tonight that fall into this category. So no pointing fingers, just a friendly reminder. ;D)
