Just to let you know if I disappear for a few days there is a good reason. My internet is still going crazy and our computer is quite obviously frelled. So, we are backing up and wiping the entire PC in the vain hope that I might actually be able to Milliways without it stopping going.

If the process of wiping the computer takes longer than expected I will post the OOM's when I get back. I'm using the crying icon because that is what I'll be doing out of stress.

Lilly is plotting to kidnap Mal and take him to Vegas for his birthday, a few days before actual date (for great avoidance of doom). So like, in the next couple days, but as always, slowtime will be our friend.

For any FF muns that are involved in the Shadow thread, I have tagged with Ma Reynolds here for any pup who wishes to ask her about Mal. Believe me, I am totally willing to come up with fun/amusing responses for any question your pup might ask. Book could get in on this too.

As far as new plot, please consult whedon_ways, as Shadowvisit turned into a theftplot. Easy enough to wrangle with Mal + npc's, cuz he'd do it on his own, but he'd definitely want his crew there.

To those who thread with Behrooz Araz or Jane Saunders:

On Friday, I'll be leaving home to start attending college in New York. This is a rather big change for me, and I'm going to be taking a break from the net to take some time to adjust to this. I plan to reenter once I've got my schedule worked out and am acclimated. This will likely at least be a couple weeks.

So, as for my pups:

Behrooz is going to become unBound on Wednesday, and will leave late on Thursday. He'll be out for a year his time, and there will be OOMs posted as I write them over the time he's out. He'll enter again once I've worked things out. So, if you want your pup to talk to him before he leaves, I'd recommend it be soon.

Jane is around the bar. If she's needed (the only thing I can think of is a conversation with Stephen), go ahead and contact me. Otherwise, she's around, you just didn't notice her. Perhaps she's trying to read the complete works of Dostoevsky or something.

With my dissertation's deadline coming up rather more quickly than I find comfortable, I'm going to have to restrict the time that I spend online in the evenings -- mainly because I need to get more sleep than I've been getting these last few weeks.

Rest assured, I'll still be reading the bar threads and anything else of interest on the various Milli-communities. You just won't be able to find me on AIM, or tossing characters in the bar for new threads. This is only a temporary break, and may not even last beyond the end of this week (depending on how productive I am in the next few days). And I'm always available over e-mail, with gramarye at postmaster.co.uk being the best address. Returnination will commence in full once I've hammered Alec the Dissertation into submission (pun intended).
