Okay, people I'm threading with...I've been playing tonight mostly in an attempt to distract myself from the fact that I haven't heard from my family (who is in New Orleans) all day. It hasn't been working, so much. I know they're most likely okay, now, but all the same, am finding myself sitting and looking at threads and not feeling terribly in the mood for any of them, say sorry.

So...threads can be slowtimed and picked up later, if anyone wants, but I'm going to go curl up for a bit now, I think.

Re-reading canon while offline all day due to the one skinny land line in the house being blocked by yadda-yadda, I suddenly realised something pretty basic about Asar-Suti that I had never properly noticed before, nor taken into account when RPing him.

I put it in AS's journal as an OOC post, as it might interest the other Cheysuli muns, and some others whose characters interact with the violet deity much - especially the magic geek pack.

Okeydoke! Ray is out of the Bar and in a continuum not his own until I get back from Texas. He left a half-assed note and his effectively useless computer (the biometric security system requires him to be present, alive, and not under duress if it's to turn on at all) on a table next to his usual green soda. That's all the indicator he gave of where he was going or what he was doing.

As of this weekend, I'll be joining the group of moving-back-to-college people we've collected. We're not leaving till Sunday morning, but I'll likely be too busy to be around much on Saturday, and I won't be moved in and re-Internetted till sometime on Monday, probably late.
So, for the weekend, Jane will be moving herself into college (there may be Millific about this, if I can manage to write it ever), Imp will be out of the bar still or again, depending on whether I get him back in this week, and Angel... will likely be having another wardrobe crisis. XD
Also on that note, those of you I have slowtimes with? It'd be lovely if we could get those finished this week sometime. If not, I'll pick 'em up again at school.

Well, school has started, as has heavy-duty thesis writing, which means a very practical thing for all of you: I will not be quite so much around on IMs, for a while. But! I'm here, just most likely invisible. So if you need a modly-type and none of the four of us seem to be on, post to the back room with your screen name, and there's a decent chance I'll see it. Fear not; I am still RPing regularly, still modding, and there will definitely be days when I will be around on IMs and pingable for all and sundry. Just have to be a little more judicious with my time, now that school's kicking up again.

Right, so, I finally got my shiny new computer hooked up to the college network yay! Ahem.

Anyway, so September 1st, 1939 is coming up, and that is when one Elizabeth Imbrie's world is going to begin falling to pieces. Herr Hitler and all. These things happen. Happened, anyway, and that's kind of the point. If any World War II-era pups could introduce themselves to Liz anytime she's in the bar, I would muchly appreciate it, and if their muns would ping me [AIM: thewatersword] either before or after, I would love them forever and could possibly be persuaded to make their pup an icon, if they so desire.

Historians who can turn ashen when she mentions the date she's from would also be greeted with joy.

(And may I just say that a week and half without Milliways should be outlawed as cruel and unusual punishment?)
