So, long story short, Sam from Stargate has gotten posessed by some alien technology that is in her canon, and has built a 7 1/2-8 ft tall machine in the woods. Said machine is in the middle of the woods, not on any set trail, and pretty much impossible to find unless you know exactly where it is, and even then it might be difficult. Basically, no one should stumble across it. Also, machine isn't working, and will be taken apart before it ever has a chance to be activated.

NICK'S WEDDING

That being said, here's the plan:

Gathering For The Wedding will begin around 4. A post will be put up by one of the grooms for such things.

The Wedding Itself will be outside by the lake. It will start around 6, again a post by one of the grooms. It is a simple exchange of vows, really, as anything else would injure the groom. ^_^ It will be open for posting for anyone who'd like to wander out and watch.

The Reception will be whenever the wedding is finished and it'll be up in Nick and Alex's room. That will be a linked post by one of the grooms and open only to those with an invitation or those that one of the grooms have invited (because I put up the invite list while mildly medicated and forgot some people). That will be slowtimed throughout the weekend so that everyone can pop in and thread for a bit.

A note for all involved in Triplet-plot (and mayhap those that know Ron and Puck?):

Mitch and I went ahead and did the De-Eviling last night. Because we decided that A, Time zones and wacky Triplet-mun sleep patterns suck in a bad way and B, Triplet Torture = Fun for All.

So, when I was in Ireland for October Break, just_a_soldier-mun and I went to see Serenity. I was a cheeky git and asked the manager if the cinema had any Serenity posters they could spare - or, rather, just the one. I'm not greedy. Just a new recruit to canon-love. (Even if I think the actual episode, Serenity is boring as all hell. London Millicon? That was me falling asleep from boredom! But the rest of the series is love.)

Now, the poster looks thusly:

Okay, so. Shati and I were discussing the issue of whether Puck had any STDs, and I determined that they were magical ones. We also determined that as Halloween is a time of major magic mojo for fairies, it would be a smashing time for some latent magical STDs to become ... un-latent.

What this means is just that if you have a pup who's slept with Puck (or if you have one you want to count as having slept with Puck for whatever reason), you are eligible for a magic STD all your own! Choices include but are not limited to:

--glowing genitalia

--hermaphroditism

--an inexplicable and irresistible urge to kiss anyone in immediate vicinity

--magical rashes that emit glittery spores


None of these effects is permanent, and can indeed begin and terminate whenever you wish, so long as it's in the general neighborhood of Halloween night. Please ping at Merky Dee for any questions or suggestions.
