November is just not my month

I'm sorry I've been conspiciously absent lately, but it seems that the universe is contriving to keep me away from all rping of any kind

First in a series of unfortunate events, for some unknown reason my connection is all of the sudden craptacular. I have no explination for it, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I've called the cable company, they say that my modem is fine however sometimes I loose packets between modem and computer. I've checked corders hub, everything. There is no rhyme nor reason and I am slowly getting to the tear my hair right out of my head stage of things.

Secondly is this awful awful stomach virus that is cycling through my house like a tornado. It's shifting between my son, my husband, my roommate, and myself at the rate of one to two victims a week. I am not amused, and besides stasis I am not sure how to stop it and believe me I've tried a lot of things.

As well as all that is other things, starting a new business, dealing with some small emergancies, trying to get two minutes to myself that doesn't involve being sick.

I am still here and will try to get in more but if I don't please know that I am either beating the hell out of my connection or..you know dealing with the infirm..or perhaps being infirm.

*waves, distributes tea* Good day, all. I thought that since many people keep asking me what happened when and where with the Roger plot, I should do an actual summary. I think all of the important threads are linked. Basically, I wanted to put Alanna in a position where her recklessness did not pay off and had definite consequences she needed to deal with. I wanted her to swallow her pride and learn to ask for help.

'Kay, various things have added up and all, straws, camels, etc...

Taking a break from the bar (and a lot of things) for the next couple weeks, probably 'til I go home, which could be anything from 3rd to 12th December. I don't think my pups are involved in any plot (Wes resists it and Ben's ahead of the rest in his canon; god any OOMs or whatever), but if there's anything, e-mail/ping me. (As for the squadron thing, I'm still trying to work that out...)

Feel free to request any pups (that'd be Wes Janson and Ben Skywalker ... plus Kyp Durron and Maes Hughes if they take your fancy), but preferably during the day (GMT) or Fridays/Saturdays. Also, nothing bleed-inducing... (Kyle, that means no Wes-Inyri, suck it up. Actually, it pretty much means no Wes-anyone from his canon (unless he's pranking them); one exception, but I might be back and stuff by then anyway.)
