Uncle Iroh, who keeps my poor Zuko in line, was voiced by the actor Mako; Mako died Friday of Esophageal cancer.

A moment of silence for a great actor who did amazing work for the rights and roles of Asians in cinema and stage, and was instrumental in making the Avatar (and other fandoms) as great as they were. He was also, in other fandom news, slated to take the role of Splinter in the upcoming TMNT movie. Hollywood's a little less without him, says I.

Just letting anybody involved in this know that, due to schedule problems, vacations, crappy co-ordination on my part, and many RL things getting in the way, the rest of the Masked plot is cancelled. I hate to do this, but there's so much keeping me from doing this like I wanted. The matter will be resolved, of course, but it won't really involve all the great people that offered to be a part of this.
