Me = leaving on a jet plane. (Actually, not, leaving on a bus at 11pm tomorrow night. From London to Oban. Ow. And then three-and-a-half hours on a tub.) So, this means that Mercutio will not be played until, probably, the 3rd September.* He's off on an exciting trip with Jack Frost. *handwaves gleefully*

Not that it means much since I've been flaky (flakey?) all summer, but -- this is one of those leave-of-absence posts! I actually leave at stupid o'clock Tuesday morning, but I think tomorrow's gonna be chaotic.

I am heading off to New Jersey for great college win, which means that when I finally get a laptop and/or permanent internet access, I will be online in a sensible timezone. Sadly I have no idea when this will be -- it might be as soon as I move in, it might not be 'til classes start next Monday -- but either way, I'll definitely be offline 'til at least Friday.

This meeeans: Wes will be ... hanging around the bar ... being Wes (feel free to mention him, folken that know him); Ben has gone back home for Mission O' Doom; and the others are floating around their canons. (Desmond, quite literally.)

After I get back -- actually, after Dragon*Con, more likely (hey guys who else is going?) -- there will be another Paradox Squadron briefing, and also much organisation of Kettch, since ... someone still has him. And Wes would really rather like him back.

I look forward to my own return.

IMPORTANT MOD-TYPE ANNOUNCEMENT


I did a lot of admin work yesterday. A lot. And by the end of it I was pretty tired, so it's entirely possible that I made mistakes.

If your character's fandom starts with E, F, G, H, I or J, and you hadn't responded to the purge post, take a look at their userinfo. I haven't removed any characters that responded to the purge post as active, nor have I removed any who didn't respond and I knew to be active. However, if your character has been removed from the comm accidentally, please email me at villainny(at)livejournal.com and I'll sort it as soon as possible.

ATTENTION all muns whose canons come between 10TH KINGDOM and ELLA ENCHANTED¹. I want you all to please go back and check the Purge Post, where you tagged in with your characters. At this stage, every tag in that section (ie, my section) should have a reply to it from milliways_mods, unless the character in question will later be up for adoption.

If the reply to your comment says 'Done' then you are in the clear, and everything is fine and dandy. A number of you, however, will find replies with the subject line 'QUERY' - please respond to those comments as appropriate, and ASAP.

NOTE: There do appear to be several cases of muns/characters disappearing off the face of the planet, so be aware that, if after reposting this for a couple of days, QUERY comments go unanswered, I may if necessary reserve the right to use my own discretion in retiring/deleting/keeping a character. So! Is important you all let me know.

SECONDLY, if you were bad, bad people, and never commented during the whooooole summer with instructions for your character, the likelihood is high that they have been deleted from the community. So check if they're still a member, check if they're still on the cast list, and if they're not, and you want them to be, ping me / email me, and we will Talk.

Wait for instructions from the mod who is in charge of your section. We all have our own arcane systems of dealing with our individual sections, and WHO KNOWS what fiendishly complex organisational system you might disrupt. :O
