Happy midsummer, everybody (from the land of the midnight sun, where we take our shortest night of the year seriously)!

Sometime today the Queen will be entering, likely with some major abuse of Millitime, because between time zones, an audition, and other final events of this conference I'm at, Saturday is a little crazy for me. And due to the craziness of my schedule today, you should proooobably expect slowtime/sporadic tagging when she does enter. But by all means, tag her! And since OOC communication is our best friend with characters like this, I encourage use of this post (or my e-mail) for that. Yes? Yes.

Draco and Mia's Reception party

Anybody who's a friend of Draco and/or (more likely or) Mia, and missed out on the wedding, or simply wants to come to party? Or even if you're not, and just like to party anyway. There's food, drink, a place for gifts, dancing, and even a Quidditch game. They're holding their make-up reception (since they eloped early, impatient magic users!) out back here. Come on out, and congratulate the newlyweds.

It's Millitimed to today but going to be slowtimed to heck so feel free to tag in whenever you can if you want to send anybody.

It's LAUNDRY day!

As of this post, the Snuggle Bear is in the bar, and will be here for about a week, on his mission for upliftment, dispensing hugs to patrons.

As explained in the original post, partons hugged by Snuggle are uplifted. Until the end of the plot, they will have soft, snuggle, cuddly personalities, and not be bothered by much of anything. The upliftment ends with Snuggle's departure. If a non-Bound parton leaves the bar, it's completely up to you whether or not the upliftment follows him or her back to the his or her world. If, however, that patron returns to the bar before the plot ends, he or she is re-uplifted the moment he or she sets foot -- or whatever -- in the bar.

Upliftment is caused by hugging or being hugged by the bear. If you want a pup affected who is really not the sort to hug teddy bears, there can be drive-by ambush hugs. If you want to handwave at any point this week that a pup was hugged, go for it. The bear will hug pretty much anybody.

The bear will be around as much as I can manage, and feel free to tag, even if you don't want the pup to get hugged (though please either ping me or mention that fact OOC on the reply, just so I can keep it all straight).

Also, my computer is seven years old and cranky. It sometimes slows down to the point that it can take me more than a minute to move from task to task, either with posting replies or answering pings. Please bear with me (no pun intended); I won't be ignoring you, I'll be moving as fast as my brain and dial-up allow.

For Snuggle Plot: Hugs from Ed!

As of this thread, Edward Wong Hau Pepleu Tivrusky IV (AKA "Ed," AKA "Radical Edward," AKA "Francoise", AKA shoeless_ed), has been "uplifted" by Snuggle Bear and is participating in the Snuggle Plot.

Since Ed is perpetually cheerful as a matter of course, her upliftment will not cause a terribly drastic change in her behavior. She'll just be inclined to hug strangers, which is no crazier than most anything else she'd do anyway. This means she will tag someone's EP, hug them, and wander out, with no explanation whatsoever. She will stop doing this when the Snuggle Plot ends - although if your pup is particularly cute and fuzzy, she may attempt to do so even when (what passes for) normal conditions return.

I will of course be asking permission from the appropriate muns before I have Ed do this with any of their pups. That's the purpose of this post. Take note of the "Hugs Please!" and "No Hugs, Thanks!" subthreads on this post. Tag with the names of one or more pups who you want hugged or absolutely DO NOT want hugged in the appropriate subthread.

For those who do not reply to this post but who would seem to be good hugging prospects, I will ping the muns on AIM before having her tag.

The entire Snuggle Bear EP, because...yeah. Just because. They're all fun as hell.

Plourr and Rial and a strategic fade to black, this OOM was just awesome and also had great comedy, good work!

And Jack Green and Teja because it just hurts like hell, but it's so well done and real. Bravo, really.
