As a head's up, Snuggle plot will end tomorrow, but there is still time to turn your pup into a shiny happy person if you want. Last night's EP is open for the duration for ambush hugs (as always, feel free to let the upliftment begin as soon as you've tagged, and I'll reply asap). I will probably have Snuggle in later today for anyone who wants to actually talk to him.

I really hope everyone else is enjoying this as much as I am, and thanks ever so much to everyone who has gotten involved.

Retiring: Simon Skinner (slasherofprices, Hot Fuzz)

and

Adopting: Ben Linus of "Lost", originally played with the journal is_he_isnt_he, but will now be played with the journal imthegoodguy as soon as it is approved to the comm.

Also, even though I haven't owned her for a looong time, I am now officially no longer in control of toy_airplane; I'll leave it to her new player to make announcements on her end.

Change in AIM Status

Dear Milliways muns,

I've changed my AIM settings so that I can only receive messages from people who are on my contacts list. I had the buddies-only setting when I first came to Milliways, but it was pointed out to me that this was inconvenient for other muns who wanted to do OOC coordination, so I set my AIM account to receive messages from everyone.

However, I have recently been receiving automated spam messages with links that will probably put viruses or spyware on my computer. I have a Mac so I'm not to worried about that stuff, but I have been getting more and more of these messages lately - to the point where I'm getting several every day - and it's extremely aggravating. Hence, I've put the buddies-only setting back on.

By now I have many of the active players at Milliways on my list, so this shouldn't be too much of a problem. I also tend to make a habit of contacting people I'm threading with for the first time anyway, so I don't think this will be too much of a problem.

If for some reason I have not put you on my buddy list and you need to contact me by AIM, drop an OOC tag on any of my characters (feminine_menace, l33t_mouse, azure_mercy, synapse_circuit, alien_bartender, yinyangwizard, shoeless_ed, stargypsy and paragonsoldier) saying that you want to talk to me and providing the name of the AIM account you're using. I get LJ e-mail alerts, so I should get your message promptly and put you on my contacts list.

Just so's everyone knows, I'll be in Toronto until Tuesday and won't be checkign anything other than email. If anyone wants their pup to talk to Jack I'm definitely willing to Millitime something when I get back!
