Hi, Milliways! Guest host Mandas here. How's your Thursday, so far? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is the following:

You know when you're sitting around a campfire, or on a long trip, and you get to telling anecdotes or playing Truth or Dare? These stories that come out tend to be sweet, sentimental, or best of all, hilarious. I'd like to hear some of your pups' stories that they wouldn't necessarily tell to anyone except the closest of friends. The more embarrassingly hilarious, the better! You don't have to go into detail, but it'd be great if you do.

In other news, KotOR/Star Wars muns: The KotOR MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has officially been announced. GameSpot has a pretty good writeup on it. The question is whether it'll stand up to the series. The screens have me a little worried, honestly; it looks like they tried to fit the cartoony style of the latest movie into the game. Yeeeah.

Today isn't my Milliversary, only Teja's.-

I was one of the early adopters that joined right after 'Nny's first post on her mun journal; but I didn't play regularly until late November that year when I picked up Asar-Suti. I drifted away to an else!game roughly 18 months later.

Last autumn, through a concatenation of almost bizarre serendipity, I was reminded of one certain gothy Goth who had been my favourite fictional character before I discovered LotR, Aragorn, and Faramir; then, the Silmarillion, Feanor, and Maglor -- see the  pattern much, anyone?

Anyway, I decided I totally had to app Teja for Milliways, just for fun. It's been a year now since I got the approval note in the morning, and then, in the evening, had a freshly-dead and very gloomy Goth walk into the bar.-

And since then, I've been a regular again and made lots of new friends -- both IC-ly and OOC-ly. Thank you all very much for all the fun -- here's to much more of it!!

Hey, how about some slowtimes?

Bela and Elle had a lovely chat in which Bela found out that demons frequent Milliways. Whee!

Bela and Meg Ford also had a rather prickly introductory discussion. Consequences, shmonsequences, says Bela!

What have you finished?
