Hi, Milliways! Guest host Mandas here. How's your Thursday, so far? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is the following:
You know when you're sitting around a campfire, or on a long trip, and you get to telling anecdotes or playing Truth or Dare? These stories that come out tend to be sweet, sentimental, or best of all, hilarious. I'd like to hear some of your pups' stories that they wouldn't necessarily tell to anyone except the closest of friends. The more embarrassingly hilarious, the better! You don't have to go into detail, but it'd be great if you do.
In other news, KotOR/Star Wars muns: The KotOR MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has officially been announced. GameSpot has a pretty good writeup on it. The question is whether it'll stand up to the series. The screens have me a little worried, honestly; it looks like they tried to fit the cartoony style of the latest movie into the game. Yeeeah.

Which sucks, as, oh my gosh my pups have done crazy shit. And I can't remember any of them. Also, my brain has been caught up in AU!Sam&Meda!Matrix thing, and just throws out random binary at me.
But, hmm.
*thinks*
Medusa and her two triplets, back in the days when she just had curls and was this gorgeously pretty thing all the boys wanted to marry, were in Atlantis. They had Atlantean for the first time. They were also teenage girls with wings.
Their father still has nightmares about that.

I can imagine he would. Girls Gone Wild: Atlantis Edition isn't something many fathers would look forward to.

I feel like Plourr's (SHUT UP FIREFOX, THAT IS A WORD) would be anything remotely sappy and/or sentimental that she's ever done. So basically a couple of stories related to husband-and-child (see: hilariously yearny icon). Otherwise, she -- really doesn't have much in the way of a sense of shame; not for the non-traumatic stuff, anyway! She's got plenty of canonical shame for the angsty stuff, but nobody really wants to hear about fractricide while sitting around the campfire playing truth or dare. XD
Older-Tycho Does Not Speak of the time he and Wedge got really plastered, played zoneball, and had to be picked up off the floor by their long-suffering girlfriends, while they were still roaring zoneball fight songs. (Well, he'll talk about it with Wedge.) It would be a good truth or dare story! Reset young-Tycho would find it hilarious.
I'm not sure what Rhodey's truth would be, but it probably doesn't have anything to do with spring break 1987 or anyone named Ivan.

"Course, access for tourists is more credit than I've ever seen in my life. And the security's the toughest in all of Haddyn, so they say.
"So I'm - we're thirteen, me 'n Harth, and he's got it in his head to see the stars. He's a total dork, really. But I get word of some stuff, buy a couple of secrurity scramblers under Erin's nose, and a couple rebreather's, cause the air up there's worse than the UV.
"And I climb up the Needle. Tallest building in the whole rutting world and I climbed up the outside with my twin brother on my back. And the spun part? I ever breathed word of this back in Haddyn I'd be sold to the laws 'fore I could finish the story. They still think the security breach that night was the 'Stans."

Mia: .....Nash, you tell everyone that story. What about that time when Will and Draco had a drinking contest and the loser had to wear a dress? I've just told that to my friends here who would like to hear it.
Nash: Wait, when did this happen? *evil grin*
Homestar: Well, there was this one time I locked myself out of the house and lived inside a mascot costume. And there was this one time when I got stuck in the water cooler at work. And then I had myself on my own "My Boyfriend Style Got Stole" morning talk show. In fact, they all might have been the same day...

And that is actually pretty much my favorite sbemail of all time.

However, with the news of a KOTOR book coming out, set just before the events in KOTOR I (I don't know if that means it's an all out REVAN IS AT WAR WE ARE AWESOME book, or literally...right before, where it's really boring) I am back to being excited :P

KOTOR BOOK. LIKE, A NOVEL.
!!!!! *cannot breathe*
(I'm thinking the same thing on the MMO front. I am a poor college student! And it's under EA, so you know it's gonna be a subscription-based thing.)

Tommy being Tommy, he decides poker and booze are the best way to cheer everyone up! (Well, after the others shot down his 'hookers and blow' suggestion, anyway.) So off they go, after a little wheedling to get Eli to loosen up. Billy, despite the ability to manipulate the game ... is losing. Terribly. And is also a complete lightweight. So he decides that it's strip poker! No one else agrees, but he has a very good time stripping to whatever was on the radio at the time. Teddy, naturally, attempted to cover him up like a good boyfriend, but the damage was done ... Tommy joined in. And the Vision II was left with a very strange impression of teenagers.
Meanwhile ...
No matter what Nick Fury tells you, Steve did not loose his virginity to six French hookers and Bucky one drunken evening. Shh. /completely untrue, but hilariously cracky anyway.

Barney? Has the time Alyx bleached his hair with peroxide. He Does Not Speak of This.
Teddy has Banah's...
The Heavy has a fondness for fluffy animals that once led to him writing a letter to Team BLU when the circus came through town. It was rejected, sadly enough. And there was also taking a Polaroid of when the Scout tried to run around with his legs on backwards.
John went to MIT. They are hackers. He has more of these kinds of stories than you can shake a stick at, really.
Metis actually has a canon one... he got a crush on his BFF Charles' sister, who wanted to be a hair stylist. He agreed to let her cut his hair, and she ended up perming it. It hasn't ever been straight since, and he has a deathly fear of getting his hair cut now.
Chell's canon, from GLaDOS: "Didn't we have some fun though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said 'Goodbye' and you were like (deep male voice) 'NO WAY!' (normal voice) and then I was all 'We pretended we were going to murder you'? That was great!"

Dorothy Jane's creative energies are currently going into a rather steamy poem about her next-door neighbor and love of her adolescent life, Riley Roberts. She keeps this poem under lock and key and guards it with her very soul and in no way will it become the focus of an episode where her younger sister plasters copies all over the neighborhood and - well, it doesn't end on quite the sunny note you'd expect from a sitcom.
Alan has lost count of the ridiculous things he did under Chrissie's influence when they were young. He's pretty sure all the photos of the night of crossdressing have been destroyed.

Dilan on the other hand has lots of them, most starting "Braig was (pick one: drunk/stoned/both) and - "
Those are more fun to leave mostly open ended. Like the pickle incident.

(And Dilan is technically your pup too, isn't he?)

"That so, Mikey? I'm sure I could dig somethin' up that people'd love to hear 'bout."
"Oh I'm sure you could, but that'd totally give me reason to go dragging one of your skeletons out of the sewers."
"I ain't got nothin' to hide."
"Not even that time when Leo signed you up for the Barry Manilow fan club?"
"That all you got?"
"Or that time you dyed yourself pink by accident."
"Heh, that was Donnie, you nimrod."
"Oh...right! How about the time you woke up mostly naked next to Tim Hunter? That was funny and embarrassment, right?"
"Right Raph?"
"Raph?"
"Run."
"YIPES!"

Demeter has Far too many stories that are sweet and sexy and not embarassing to her but very much to her daughter.
At this point in time I don't think Tumnus has any though perhaps maybe when he was a young Faun and his first time in the woods with Bacchus, Pan and the nymphs, the thought of it still turns him red.
The Pirate King says that when he was a young and dashing Pirate he never did anything foolish, really.
no subject
Pirates are pretty much either very foolish, or not at all, depending on who you ask. Well, IMO, anyway.
