Four Years

ceitfiannaFour years ago today, give or take a timezone or two, I entered Will Scarlett and had no idea what to do but kept asking for help and found my way into Milliways.
I've acquired friends, headvoices, grown more sure of my writing and feel so grateful for this amazing place.
Thank you and I look forward to more wonderful years.

A warning and a plea

I'm with my mom, at the hospital, waiting to find out if she's getting her new lungs or not. If any of y'all could think of a kind word or light a candle in prayer for this, thank you in advance.
I'll be on aim, but don't expect any speedy responses, and I'll be vague on tagging for a few days probably.
UPDATE:: SINGLE LUNG. HAPPENING TONIGHT.
Update the second at 2:40 am, Feb 28th: They found out at the last second that the donor's lung was not good for transplant, due to I think some kind of smoking issue. Mom was not opened up, and she is recovering from her happy sleepy drugs right now.
I am half tempted to ask for some myself, and now wish to thank you all for your good wishes and support, gods all bless you guys, you rock and helped me SO MUCH tonight with getting through this.

Feb. 27th, 2011 11:51 pmbethan-b-bad.livejournal.comLast night, after some egging-on in crackchat, I wound up doing an impromptu running commentary to the DVD of NuTrek I was watching. Some people seemed to enjoy it, but it wasn't really fair on all the people who weren't so interested, so the idea occurred to me of doing a kind of Crackchat Watches... of a weekend, with a specific chat open for a synchronised watch and commentary on a particular movie.
But, is anyone interested? And if you are, what movies do you fancy watching? Personally, I was going to suggest Iron Man, Batman Begins, The A-Team, Fellowship of the Ring, all that sort of thing, but anything we can all watch simultaneously is fine by me.
