DE: Dear Mun/Pup

I woke up late and so am running out the door but before I go, a quick DE inspired by the dear_mun  comm:

Write a letter either as one of your pups to you or as you to a pup. And feel free to include characters you are thinking of playing. And while we're at it, feel free to comment on any of the letters either as a character or a mun. Guess that fourth wall isn't completely fixed yet.

Hey folks,

This is just to let you all know that I'm going to be pretty scarce (even by my usual standards) for the next 2-3 weeks. Between frantic costume prep for Dragon*Con and work ramping up into its busiest period... yeah.

I am loving all my Thor slowtimes, so I'm going to try to keep tagging those up! But, uh, no guarantees about promptness.

 Whoops, time to jump on the hiatus bandwagon! I haven't been around much in Milliways proper, but still, as a PSA:

Wednesday morning I'm off to Spain to walk El Camino de Santiago with the parental and sisterly types, and in an effort to cut down on the weight in my backpack, I'm not bringing a computer. (I KNOW, I'M TERRIFIED TOO. I'm bringing a smartphone, though, I'm addicted not crazy.) I'll be back in the US on October 3 and somewhat settled in my new digs in Seattle on October 9.

I will miss y'all, and I'll see you in about 700km!

(PS: Anyone have recommendations for good audiobooks? Milliways canons are SUPER welcome, and good versions of classics would be great too. <3!)

hiatus-y thing.

Good morning Milliways!

I figured I ought to put up a note before the week starts to catch up with me and I forget to do it.

So this Thursday I leave for Tokyo for the next four months. I am incredibly nervous, kind of quietly panicking, but I'm sure once I get there and settle a little, I'll start to remember why I decided to do this in the first place.

While that whoooole thing is happening, I doubt I'll be online very much. For those of you who were in constant contact with me last year, you'll know that the program I'm in is ridiculously intense. But I did make an appearance every now and then!

So. The same thing is going to apply. Just ... the timezone difference is going to be absurd.

tl;dr, I am calling a hiatus until further notice! I may pop in every now and then, and I'll definitely still try to keep my social media hubs updated (zellyb; skyfell) but my activity (which, admittedly, hasn't been all that fabulous this summer) will be scarcer than usual.

Whatever OOMs and slowtimes I currently have, we can either fade them, wrap them, or keep them going - so long as you're into it.

This affects these bbs.

So it turns out moving does still suck, in case anyone wondered, and leaves you with very little computer time which means my slowtimes were sort of EXTRA SLOW lately.

I'm totally down to continue said slowtimes if wanted, but I'm also good on fading out all of the threads I sort of dropped while moving and starting new ones as I avoid unpacking!
