As has been mentioned a few times, Bonnie is going to be helping throw a County Fair during the second week of July.
This is
not a Scout event and everyone is welcome (though there is stuff for the Scouts to do, see below). In fact, we're aiming to have as many opportunities for everyone to have fun as we can.
Because I usually tend to give too many instructions which people then don't read, I have summarised ways you can take part into the following cut tags.
No sign-ups unless specified, this is mostly to help you plan.
( Horticultural show - for gardeners, foodies, craft-workers, pet owners, people who are animals, vehicle enthusiasts, and kids )( Traders, merchants, craft-types, beer festival enthusiasts )( Unscrupulous rogues, con artists, general gits of ill repute )( Performers, street artists, musicians, actors, acrobats, singers, etc )( MilliScouts )Everyone else - mingling or spectating any of the above, and if you have any suggestions of stuff you want to do, or any questions, comment below!
[*My holiday is actually the same week because of a change in my leave plans (long story short my job was stressing me out and I pulled my break forward), but I've been there before and had no problems with signal. I will be sending a backup copy of the fair post to Maru just in case I drop off the radar.
