Let's do another round of fic today, but let's mix things up by having AU type fic. I'm thinking genre mash-ups, maybe get a prompt and at least two genres to mash up together? Or just make your own mashup with the prompt you get. Who knows how this will work. :D

Cherry Blossoms (March 29th through April 7th)

It’s that time of year again! Cherry trees will appear in Milliways starting on the night of Friday, March 29th. They will bloom on Sunday, March 30th, and remain in bloom through the following weekend.

On Sunday, April 7th, the petals will start falling/blowing away. During the night the trees, blossoms, and associated modifications to the Milliways landscape will vanish, leaving the place as close to normal as it ever gets.

Any parts of the cherry trees that are removed from the environment of Milliways will vanish. If you really want a souvenir, Abe no Seimei will make you a pink origami blossom.
