What does your character(s) think of their ancestors? Anything or nothing at all? Are they a vague idea or do are they distinct individuals?

ETA: Ancestors here doesn't have to mean blood relative. It can be cultural, friendship, organizational, etc.

Hey guys.

So it's the last two weeks of school where I work, and that means a lot of difficult kids being extra difficult, and a lot of extra paperwork and things for the staff to do. I will probably not be around much until the end of the month and I doubt I'll be tagging anything with regularity. I don't want to drop things, but just a heads-up that I'll be really slow, if I'm here at all.
