Hi, Milliways! Guest host Mandas here. How's your Thursday, so far? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is the following:

You know when you're sitting around a campfire, or on a long trip, and you get to telling anecdotes or playing Truth or Dare? These stories that come out tend to be sweet, sentimental, or best of all, hilarious. I'd like to hear some of your pups' stories that they wouldn't necessarily tell to anyone except the closest of friends. The more embarrassingly hilarious, the better! You don't have to go into detail, but it'd be great if you do.

In other news, KotOR/Star Wars muns: The KotOR MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has officially been announced. GameSpot has a pretty good writeup on it. The question is whether it'll stand up to the series. The screens have me a little worried, honestly; it looks like they tried to fit the cartoony style of the latest movie into the game. Yeeeah.

Dilan was the person Xaldin was when Xaldin was real.

And you know I've played too much Kingdom Hearts when that makes perfect sense.

Once upon a time there was Dilan. Dilan's boss started studying hearts. As part of this study he sacrificed the heart of one of his apprentices to darkness. This apprentice had gone nutso and started calling himself Ansem. So it may have been Xehanort sacrificing his own heart to darkness because things get kind of confused. Anyway Xehanort-as-Ansem convinced the other apprentices to peer into the darkness and as they thought it was Ansem-Ansem's orders they did it. At which point they lost their hearts and became abominations that the universe has spent the last ten years actively attempting to disbelieve out of existing.
