Right, so in the midst of conferencing and whatnot I completely forgot to summarize The Wounding (and Subsequent Healing) of Tonks. The thread is a little zilla-y, but I think there is, actually, some amount of continuity I can string together. But we'll see.

Oh, the drama! )

*collapses*

Remind me never to do something so plotty EVER AGAIN. No, actually, it was really fun -- hugs and love to all involved!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. And a present, just for you guys. 'Cause I loff you all.

Okay, the adventure starts a few weeks ago. Fleur confronts Bernard about the fact she needs to leave. The trio is all very sad and weepy. Notes are left 'cause that's what we do here at Milliways. The mun then wanders off for RL stuff 'cause what the hell, there is stuff outside the crack?

Angsty stuff happens Out of Milliways. There is almost blood sacrifice. And the tart comes back. A few ploty things happen. The reunion is sappy. Finally, Fleur falls asleep and Bernard-mun makes the sadness look so pretty.

And the angsty is done now! Hurrah no more angsty! Come everyone! I say its time for some silly. I'm a grinning and a total goofy, especially lately. We should take advantage of it. Wheeeee!

We thought of a Milliways theme song! Well, an adaptation, really.

This is the bar that never closes
it goes on and on my friend
some people started drinking there
not knowing what it was

Repeat endlessly.

Lyrics are provided by Anthy-mun.

So, is this suitable for a theme song? [insert deity of choice here] knows it's bloody true.

Yeah. Anyone who cares will have noticed by now, and anyone who doesn't care doesn't care, but I have been consumed by Real Life and am struggling to keep my head above water with thesis, classes, RAing, tutoring and a job. (And a bad, bad fiction habit.) Milliways is crack, and therefore has been eating all my spare time, but since I don't have any spare time anymore, my poor cowboy is going to be spending a lot of his time in his room for the next little while.

Hopefully I can get back on top of the workload in the next few weeks and once more have spare time to throw down a hole. We'll see. Since I have not managed to immerse myself in any high-grade plottery, I don't think anyone will miss me terribly regardless. It has been fun, and I hope I can get back soon.

Icon is here; feel free to use it. This was done at the request of my roommate - i.e. I can't take credit for the idea or the original picture, but credit for the icon would be nice.

Just a note to the musicians of the bar -- Bob is currently residing in his skull atop the piano... he'll speak to you if he's awake, but feel free to just say 'hi'... he doesn't bite ;) and he's kind of stuck, unless someone moves him, as he has no body - just the skull. *g*
