Okay, so, first order of business...

I have to figure out what happened to my modem, it it's the modem at all. So, once I get that nailed-down, I might back online to finish up all the little plotty bits that I need to finish before I leave for vacation at the end of the week.

x_van_helsing_x - off on a mission; I'm posting his exit either tomorrow or Wed.

macleod_connor - back in NYC - he's told Faith and he'll be leaving soon-ish (by Wed).

bob_the_skull and wizard_dresden - both are still in Chicago playing out the events of Dead Beat and should be returning after I get back.

martouf_lantash - honestly, I think he fell into a black hole somewhere at the back of the bar, but I'm not sure; if anyone finds him - tack him to the message board for retrieval upon my return. thnx...

_not_special_ - She'll just be around the bar. Feel free to use her as a 'pet sitter' if one is needed - she frequently is charged with caring for Beowulf, so if a pup needs a 'last minute' pet sitter - she can handle it... just poke a little note to me somewhere.

aww_man - he's probably building something, taking something apart or playing some form of hockey... trust me, he'd invent a way... so, he's around - somewhere.

roswell_grey - (my newest pup) - Thor is back on his own ship; he's just been in the once and won't be in again until I get back.

So, that's everyone. VH and Connor will probably be the only two I have in the bar over the next couple days while I wind up their pre-exit post stuff. That is, if I can get online long enough to post them in at all.

To sum up - if PC all fixed today or tomorrow - online lots until Wed; if not, online-ness spotty until after the 3rd.

Stephanie Brown is, as of now, away from the Bar. It'll be for a week Bar time, although only a couple of hours Steph-time, because I've got mad family things happening this week and won't have time to RP at all.

edit 1 August: make that a bit longer Bar time. ended up being two weeks of mad family. only a few minutes for Steph, though, on consideration.

For Sick Plot purposes, whoever comes around with the cure has permission to god Steph being healed; she's in Room 44, in stasis, as per the latest post in i_spoiled_it, so.

Face Loran, my other pup, is probably sulking in his room. He doesn't have any convenient canon plot to take him away. :D

If you were wondering where I've been the last few days, the answer is PLAGUE. I don't get sick often but when I do, it usually sucks the big one. I didn't go to work today since I couldn't walk straight and I'm coughing so hard I'm crying...but I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and should be all right.

Alright. I'm leaving in three days to go to Idaho for two weeks (July 21st-August 3rd) to visit family.

During my vacation, my pups will both be out of Milliways.

Inyri (majorinyri) will be going on the mission that supposedly killed Hobbie Klivian. There will be no way of any kind for her to show up while I'm gone, because she will be on some backwater planet. Or something. I'm working that out.

Sam (unique_moments) will be UnBound, to return to New Jersey to see her mom, Tim and Tickle and whoever else she decides to hang out with while she's gone.

Meh. And then of course, a few days later, school starts.

OOM Vampire Hunter D Adventure! Begins after 8/03

Taking a jaunt into Hideyuki Kikuchi's gothic future vampire universe. I promise to be as consistent with it as reasonably possible, cribbing from books/movies/game and illustration with plenty of room to roam.

The adventure, will, of course be a vampire hunt. Complete with jaunt through crumbling castle, mystery to solve, intrigues, mutants, sorcery and assorted enemies. D is very slowly dying of a curse that is reverting him to human. This is a problem because D has had the equivalent of hundreds of mortal lives, and without the vampirism.... yeah, he's not gonna live very long. Right now he's a full dhampire with a wound that won't quite heal.

The race is to cure him before the curse takes full affect, and he will weaken in the course of the adventure.

Am open to plot ideas, and will open a chat room for each session.

Van Hellsing isn't available until after August 3rd, so the adventure will start around then.
