Tiger, the other Cheysuli mun playing Strahan, Tiernan/Vaii, Ian, Niall, Hale and Rhiannon as well as Sim Kavanaugh the werewolf, Tigatron and Airazor from other canons, just emailed me to say that her computer has developed horrible problems, and she doesn't know when they will be solved, and she can return. It all depends on what is wrong with the computer, and when she can get things fixed.

She hopes to see us all before the end of the month, but can't make any promises.

Amanda-mun? Your email isn't on the contact list, at least not that I could find it; can you tell it to me here so I can send on the email from Tiger, parts of which were for you?

As the panic sets in and I realise I actually have a degree to do...

Will be a little sparse while I try and write my upgrade report. Because I'd really like to pass, and I've been slack. All pups are thus put on a plot-or-by-request status. Ping me if you want an OOM or a specific thread, but otherwise, no entracne posts from me. Probably. So:

Excuse me while I pull a reverse-twink and decide that Slayer healing's not all it's cracked up to be. Mel's back is apparently much worse than she thought, and she'll be incapacitated upstairs until the Gaunt plot kicks off. After that I imagine she'll be recovering from that.  Karen and Lynne have full godding rights, of course. Gar and Emmy would too, if Indy and Lilly were around.

Dave is slobbing around. Sometimes he's teaching himself to use the flight sims. Sometimes he's having sex being a deligent boyfriend. Paige-mun has godding rights.

Dinah's lost her door temporarily. Or something.

Cera is either in the Great Valley or in Suite 132. Kate, Amy and Karen can god if they need her.

Angua is no longer visiting Raph now he's started showing his face around the bar. So she's back in Ankh-Morpork, solving crimes, loving Carrot and being snarky at Sally. Rue can god if she so desires.

No plots have been hurt in the making of this announcement.

Just a brief reminder that the new app guidelines include a slightly longer character description -- 300 to 500 words. That's not a significant increase from the previous requirement, but we think it's important. 'Cause, you know, if you're willing to flesh out that characterization a bit more for us, then it'll pay off in the long run once the character's in the bar.

For that matter, if you've still not gone back and read the new guidelines, head on over to the info page and check it out! Even Milliways vets should have a gander. :)

Stephen and Marvel have decided to push back the launch of the Dark Tower comic books to 2007. “Given the size of the project and all the creative talent involved, I want to give the Marvel series all the room to breathe it needs and deserves,” said Stephen. “I’ve got so much else going on in 2006—two novels coming out, CELL and LISEY’S STORY, and the work with John Mellencamp on ‘Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.’ The Marvel series is going to be a blast, and I want to have the time to enjoy it."

So Excalibur is an X-Men comic, about a Britain-based team. Kitty shows up in the first few issues, so I've been watching it.
