Some of you people I owe things to tonight.

I will try my absolute hardest to be there for said things, but the state of the mir isn't really any different tonight than it was on Monday, except now it's three days of said state, and I am very, very, very cranky as a result.

I am going to have to pass out for at least a nap in the next half-hour, and I will try to get online after that, but I cannot make promises.

Sorry sorry sorry in advance, and hopefully not needed.

No pimp post again? D: Guess I'll have ta do one then (only two I have to pimp, but there's plenty left, especially when there weren't a post yesterday) Lorna Pimps:

Ghost's OOM's (for much writing that drew me in and formed enjoyment)

Ralph-Duo If there's anyone who DOESN'T need enabling...it's Duo. Thankfully it is lighthearted amusement :D!

First, for those who might be interested, an update to the state of the Black Pearl is now posted.

Second, as is probably a surprise to very few, graduate school requirements continue to siphon away my ever-dwindling free time. This is especially the case from today through Oct. 23rd, and again from Oct. 31 - Nov. 9th, and primarily affects the status of entry posts and threads with the following characters:

* Captain Jack Sparrow - [livejournal.com profile] pirate_jack
* Moiraine Sedai - [livejournal.com profile] blue_ajah
* Kim Ford - [livejournal.com profile] bannion_sight
* Gabriel Tam - [livejournal.com profile] gabriel_tam
* Frank Black - [livejournal.com profile] gifted_profiler
* Blodwen Rowlands - [livejournal.com profile] white_flowers

This just means that if any of them are needed, advance planning and slowtime are both things of love and great value. (As always, I can be reached by email at aspen [at] silveraspen [dot] net.)

Which brings me to the subject of slowtimes. I know I have several outstanding, especially for some who are threading with Jack and Kim, and I haven't forgotten, I promise. I will do my best to tag up everything in the next 24 hours -- and if I miss one, feel free to poke me over email or nag me about it on AIM when I'm online (Aspenx3), truly.

Thanks, all. (And if anyone figures out how to shove more free time in the day, let me know, okay?)

As of this post, the new Milliways sound system is operational. Whistler made sure to leave detailed instructions for Bernard, Mikey, and anyone who happens to be tending Bar, so if they need to turn it off, change the volume or put something specific on, they're quite free to do so. He's included a ninety-nine CD collection of all different sorts of music to start with, along with a small stack of audiotapes. It's also capable of playing eight-tracks and four different speeds of vinyl record. No wax cylinders, alas.

It should be noted that Whistler has kept a remote control that he specifically built for his own use. He has no intention of telling anyone about this unless absolutely necessary.

Thank you.

Bartending is up!

Iiiiiii'm done my midterms so I no longer require sleep. So tag away! I'll be here for hours.

EDIT: Okay, well, I don't not require sleep EVER, so. 3 AM EST, closed to new threads plz. And I'm heading to bed fairly soon, so:

Slowtimes for all! ("Booo!")

Well, okay, slowtimes for none! ("Booo!")

Fine: slowtimes for some, miniature American flags for others!
