Mmmkay. I'm certain-sure that those of you who play with Suzi have noticed her recent angst. She has become a black hole of "I hate this place", and it isn't fun. Cam and I have some things to try to start making it better, but I am asking you, Milliways, to come help.

Specifically, the girl needs some fun. She needs some pure-Milliways, can't-get-that-shit-in-San Francisco fun. Since she's been to Milliways she's been slapped in the face by all the traumatizing shit that's gone down, and she's never really gotten to see the good that can come out of the bar.

It's taken a toll on her, and through her on Whistler, Cam, and me.

So I'm herein begging for people who play with Suz to come up with fun threads, maybe in the bar or maybe out in their worlds, that emphasize how much good the bar can actually do. Short threads, long threads, whatever as long as they don't rely on trauma as a method of making funny.

It's probably about time that I posted this. Basically, I'm at the beginning of what promises to be the semester from hell. I'm excited about it, because it's all stuff that actually pertains to my interests, but I need to cut back on my internet time, and specifically, my Milliways time. I'm not going anywhere; I'll still be around. It's just that entrance posts for mine will probably be few and far between. I'm not at all averse to playing; just trying to keep the number of threads I have going at once to a minimum. If you want one of mine, all you have to do is email (favonian_west.at.hotmail-dot-com) or ping (bohemian inuit).

For reference, this affects yankeedoodle_dr, twostandingby, fighting_mad, shortofcrazy, tookfoolery, cheerychaplain (I have not forgotten you who replied to that backroom post or emailed me about it; I'll be watching for EP's and still going with what was discussed privately), iceheart_isard, and nodistresshere.

If we have something prearranged, don't worry about it; I haven't forgotten you. And if we don't, this is an open invitation to contact me and arrange something. Just -- with the caveat that we'll have to work around my schedule. So, hup hup, Milliways. And don't worry! When I'm stuck behind a computer this summer, bored out of my skull, there'll be enough of me and mine that you'll probably look back on this time and be totally nostalgic. ♥

Monk has been very quiet lately, and I have not been keeping up with canon.

*baaaaad mun*

I was debating putting him up for adoption due to those two things, but omg I wouldn't be able to do that. I'm too attached to him. SO.

Once puppetplot is over tonight, Monk's door will reappear and he will be leaving.

When he returns, he will be coming in PRE-CANON. Yes, you heard me! This means a few things (and will be bulleted with + signs, because they are all GOOD!):

+ His wife, Trudy, will still be alive.
+ His OCD will be much, much more controlled.
+ He's still the best damn cop in Frisco.
+ He will have no memory of Milliways whatsoever.
+ He will be A LOT EASIER TO TALK TO AND INTERACT WITH!

But, remember: He will still be Monk. You may say, HEATHER, Monk isn't Monk without his Monkishness, but for now, this is for the best. He will still be Monkish, I promise, and he will still be lovable and all that great stuff! I hope you guys have as much fun with him as I know I will.

Anyway, I'm here to test the waters for a possible plot. In their meeting thread (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/15681763.html?thread=642662115), Foxtrot tried to explain the concept of panty raids to Enzo. Unfortunately, due to wardrobe differences between sprites and humans, it's not something Enzo can really do back home. So the thought occured to us about doing a raid of the ladies who keep rooms in Milliways.

This will be an opt-in plot only if we can get it organized. If you want your pup's undies raided, you need to let us know. Details of the raid such as whether or not they will be actually breaking and entering or just taking advantage of foolishly unsecured doors are yet to be determined. In fact, it would probably hinge on the "targets" (would a targeted lady be one to forget to lock her door, etc.), but I'm given to believe that some "inside assistance" might be possible. :)

As for the raiders, I think we could add a few more interested males to the team if we play things right. What do you think, folks? Once I get an idea of the interest, we can set up a chat to hash out the details.
