Ye gods, where did two years go?

I'll keep this short and sweet, not wanting to clog up back room space, but I have to say it has been a pleasure playing with you all. Special thanks to Jenni, if she still watches this comm, for nagging me every break and lunch at school to get into Milliways in the first place. To everyone who played with me and put up with me finding my way in the first few very messy months when I didn't really know what I was doing. To Maru for helping me find my way. To Bethan for finally getting me to break my habit of not meeting anyone from the internet and for not turning out to be an axe murderer.
Thank you to all the friends I have made here, who have kept me going and helped me to become a person again. And who have had to put up with me whining about exams, my computer and my digestive system. To the mods and ex-mods who built this place, and who are responsible for, if my calculation is correct, well over a thousand hours of my life.

A thousand hours well spent and set to increase. Thanks folks.

OKAY. This might sound a little weird, coming from a mun whom Real Life has largely stolen for the last couple of months. BUT.

Yeah. A year ago today, Corran dragged his mun kicking and screaming into this place. And WHAT a place you've all made it for me--and the OTHER six pups who've decided my brain's as good a place as any to take up residence.

Thank you ALL. Through sheer crack, utter woe, complete brain-break, death by laughter, more than a little brain fry and not a few late nights, this has been an AMAZING place to come and unwind or distract myself, and the friends I've made here I'd never have made anywhere else.
Thanks in particular to those who helped me find my way around this place and stumble my way through my early months. Thank you all for the welcoming arms you had waiting for me when I dropped in. Special thanks to Gray, Guite, Ana, Liz, and the Pilot Chat Crew (CATI, LEXIE, WEAVES, HALLIA, HEIDI, KYLE, JACEE, AND RO, I'M TALKIN AT YOU!)for various particularities that y'each know about on your own, I'm sure.

WITH THAT SAID, you're all amazing, and I can't imagine going anywhere anytime soon. *hoists a shot. Yes, at 10 am.*

An idea for April Fool's: Mun-Day!

Certain people have mentioned on crackchat (you know who you are!) that since pups have been able to "invade" the back room on multiple occasions, muns should be able to invade the bar. I think this sounds like a fun idea for April Fool's day, assuming it won't drive the mods crazy - let the muns have a day to go into Milliways and play themselves.

If the mods don't want to go approving all the mun accounts for the bar proper, maybe one of them can make a special post that all the muns can just reply to - treat that post as the community, and the "first replies" by various muns as posts in their own right, starting new threads.

I would really love to do something like this, so I could get to know the players behind my fellow pups a little better.
