No, I'm not asking you to break up a fight with my pup in it. Relax. :)

As some of you may have noticed, J.C. was brought to the infirmary shortly after he arrived (because he was, as the popular saying has it, shot up real bad). He was carrying a number of weapons at the time, including a sniper rifle, a couple of pistols, and some explosives. simon_doctor's mun and I agreed that Simon Tam would have left J.C.'s weapons with Security while J.C. was under his care. I would like to thread getting them back. The larger and more destructive items are going to stay in J.C.'s room.

One reason I'd like to thread this is because I would like J.C. to work for security at some point - it's his kind of thing - and this would be a good way for him to get acquainted with someone on staff. Also, since he's new, it would just be good for him to get to meet new people, in spite of the fact that he is not much of a people person.

SECURITY HIRING INFORMATION POST

In Handwavy Time (as in we've been trying to match schedules for ages and ages) Suzi Darley has been hired on as Councilor for Security. In play that's mostly going to mean she's a very small, not very fighty member of Security to whom you may come in times of need. Mostly, however, is not always. The bit which you all care about is the next bit:

SECURITY WILL BE INTERVIEWING ALL OF THE NEXT TWO WEEKS

•I'll be putting up an IC sign-up post tonight. If you want an interview, SIGN UP. No people tagging interview posts will be considered if they do not sign up for an interview.
•If you are CURRENTLY a Security member comment HERE with your OOC schedule so we can determine if you should be full/part time, or just off the force
•Do not ping ANY CURRENT MEMBER OF SECURITY asking them to "get you on" the force. I will be conducting the interviews and sending my recommendations on up. I will be the ONLY PERSON conducting interviews. Harassing other players will not endear you in the eyes of the hiring board.
•Do not interview if you have a very sporadic schedule. We need an active force again, and that means that we need people who can be around on a regular basis.
•ALL members of Security need to be easily reachable. Unblocked AIM or e-mail that is checked often is necessary or the point of being on Security is negated.
•Remember that Security is a position that often has to be a prop for other plots; you may be asked in to play bit roles only. In these cases you may have to be willing to be flexible on what your character "would" do.
