This character journal and that of stargypsy are for characters from the game Mass Effect - Commander Shepard and Tali'Zorah nar Rayya respectively. Since they will be coming to Milliways near the end of the first game, their comments may contain canon spoilers: their OOMS definitely will. I don't want to spoil Mass Effect for anyone, so if you are playing the game and have not finished it, or are planning to play, you might want to steer clear of these two for the time being. I'm willing to work out something OOC if you want to talk to them but don't want to be spoiled.

I am going to hold off on posting these two into the bar until tomorrow (oops, look at the clock - I mean later today). Until then, here's their pre-Milliways OOM. It's long and, of course, it's got spoilers in it. If neither of those things are an issue for you, I hope you enjoy!

Possibly it's just me, but I've noticed recently that pimp posts have become fewer and further between, with a lot less interest shown to them.

There are good reasons for this, I'm sure -- the holidays are busy, winter gets folks down, and a lot of us just don't have either the time or the compulsion to read stuff we're not RPing.

But... every now and then, this makes me feel a little neglectful, because we are all sort of a lot of people tossed into a small space and it would make SENSE for us to observe more than we seem to.

Therefor, in this here post, tell me what your pups have been up to. I don't care how big or small it is, whether it's crack or angst or soap-operetic drivel or handwaviness or formulaic nonsense or your RPing magnum opus. Tell us about it. PIMP THYSELF, that all may know where to read. And if there's something you've just plotted out and not RPed, talk about that, too. WE HAVE COOL IDEAS, LET US SHARE THEM.

And if I hear of anyone refusing to participate because they don't think their RP is good enough, I shall crawl through the internet wires, wriggling like an underworldly grub, and I shall bite you. If it's important enough for you to play, and if you enjoy it, it is automatically good enough to be pimped. Because the whole POINT of RP is that you enjoy it. If what you enjoy is sueing it up with angstariffic pr0n-mongering whatever the crud, WHATEVER. Pimp. Brag. Boast. Fangirl. Flail. Tell us all about why you're awesome. You should think you're awesome. If you don't, why the hell are you RPing?

Be self-indulgent.

Hello, Milliways.

I'm bringing in Bert (windsintheeast) of Mary Poppins canon into the Bar this month. As I know that Mary has been in the Bar herself, I would love to know what's being going on with her. I would do this myself, but only two entries of hers are tagged.

So if you've threaded with her, I'd love to know a few general details, as I don't want to bring my pup in and totally muck things up in terms of continuity.

Also, clarification as to whether she's actually retired or just has one foot out the door would be greatly appreciated.

Friends, Romans, countrymen and women and non-countrymen and women-- I stop myself before that gets obnoxious. I am dropping a quick note to publicly state that I'm going to be away without internet access this weekend; I wouldn't usually announce it to the world when I'm only running away for a few days, but I have a lot of slowtimes, and I don't want it thought that I'm dropping any of them!
