What's your character's favorite food? That is, assuming your character eats, of course. Does your character have any other strong food preferences or dislikes? Any dietary restrictions- religious, medical, personal, etc.? Are they in an economic or personal situation where food preferences and desires are something that actually matter, or is it a case of take-what-you-can-get with them? How do they approach food in general?

Before I give you this week's Happy Hour offerings, I feel the need to share with you this niblet of information:

I'm participating in the beta run of J.K. Rowling's "Pottermore" online experience thing. Today I manged to get to the point in the adventure where I was chosen by my wand.
Sycamore, with a unicorn core, ten and 3/4 inches....surprisingly springy.

Yes, you read that right: Surprisingly springy.
There's nothing I could say that isn't better said than Mike's icon here.

Apparently, according to the bits on the page, Unicorn cores are hard to corrupt in terms of dark magic, and sycamore is a wood that needs to keep moving lest it explode. No seriously, if the wand gets bored it has been known to spontaneously combust. As for the...*snicker* surprisingly springy bit, that just means it's highly adaptable.

I think I got Mike's wand. Or...perhaps Mike's just taken over my brain.
(possibly both.)

ANYWAY!
Happy Hour this week:

Today!
Tomorrow!
Wednesday!
Thursday!
Friday
Saturday!
Sunday!

Friday gets no exclamation because I can't be bothered to backspace.
It's that kind of day.

Have at'em!

Those of you who have been keeping an eye on Felix over the last several months will be aware that his world is in peril. As of his most recent EP, he is well on the way to finding a potential solution, although it will come with its own hazards. But finding out what the solution is and getting access to it are separate things. Separated, specifically, by a dungeon crawl full of bonus bosses.

The details, so far. )

Ideally, I'd like a fairly small team, maybe around half a dozen pups or fewer. I'd like to pre-thread the OOM portions, and have the in-Milliways stuff around early November. (This being me planning, we'll see if it's ready that early, but it's a goal to aim for.)

Any takers?
