Isn't it amusing how it's a convention in all SF and Fantasy to find some alternative to the dreaded f-word that the characters can use, and all know what's meant.

'Rutting' still goes easy on the euphemism, complained to the kriffing and frelling and what else other 'verses have to offer.-

Well, 'rutting' is a word that my whole family grew up with, as valid slang. I see what you mean re: the other examples, though.
