Night Three!
*sporks self*
Bernard
comes out and goes to his usual interviewing table.
Ophelia is the
first to approach. They are both rather shellshocked. Ophelia is
confused. Hamlet is
discussed. Ophelia makes a
rather unusual request, and Bernard
tenderly acquiesces.
Inspiration and flowers are discussed, and Bernard asks to see Fleur's
fleur. The two of them are
disgustingly snuggly. It's all rather explicitly platonic.
Oh man. Paul
arrives for his interview next. He is simultaneously
hysterically funny and
terrifying. However, he makes an excellent
Apple Martini. This gives Bernard pause.
Dibbler asks about a
kitchen position, and Bernard directs him to Gil.
Richard Mayhew
interviews for a bartending position, and mixes up a nice
Long Island Iced Tea. Also of note are his fighting credentials, which include slaying a minotaur.
Tonks
arrives, and Bernard tensely asks for news of Fleur. Bernard
cannot comprehend the risks, and does not hide his fear for her safety. He expresses his
frustration at not being able to leave to help her or, god forbid, avenge her, and then
asks to know everything about the conflict in the Wizarding world. What he hears
does not excite him, and he
offers his unique talents to the cause. Tonks
likes this idea, and reckons the Weasley twins will like it even more.
At the same time, hearing the name Voldemort, Tom Riddle
comes over to say "Hi". The men make small talk about Ingress, and Tom and Tonks talk shop. (Sorry, my wrists are hurting.) Realizing how late it is, Tonks leaves.
Penny
drops by again, and Bernard is morose at her.
Utena
schedules an interview. After a full night, Bernard
takes Ophelia to his room and settles her in the bed; he sleeps in the cot. However, in the middle of the night,
she crawls into bed with him. Yet again, it's all rather explicitly platonic. :D
The next day, Bernard and Ophelia avoid the bar, but do
sit out by the lake together. Read it. It's lovely.
God, on the homestretch now.
